			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On <strong>February 26th 2008</strong>, the was a <strong>State Visit to Munich, by Irish President Mary McAleese</strong>. Some of the members of the Club were present at the event. The President mentioned many of the events that the club was involved in, including the <strong>St. Patricks Day Parade in Munich</strong> (<a href="http://www.stpatricksday.de/">www.stpatricksday.de</a>). She said that â€œThe Munich parade is the biggest east of the Liffeyâ€. For those of you who are interested in attending the parade, it will take place on Sunday 16 March 2008. This is the 13th St. Patrickâ€™s Day Parade in Munich. The parade starts from MÃ¼nchner Freiheit at 12 noon and will progress down Leopold-/Ludwigstrasse to finish at Odeonsplatz. After speeches from the guests of honour, a programme of Celtic music and dance will be held at Odeonsplatz.</p>
