The Luxembourg tournament was the first for the Ladies Gaelic Football Team in 2006and one can truly say they fought like Lions! On Saturday the 22rd April Munich traveled to Bucarest Budapest in Romania Hungry. Four teams (Budapest, Copenhagen, Vienna & Munich) from the Eastern European League were present. With temperatures hitting over 25°, our boys had to acclimatise very quickly indeed. Munich won all 3 of the group games, sometimes with only the narrowest of margins [...]

Brussels Hurling Tournament 2005

The final leg of the 2005 Euro Hurling league took place in Tervuren on the outskirts of Brussels on Saturday October 1st. Teams from Den Haag, Zurich, Brussels and Munich competed on a day when weather and pitch conditions were ideal for hurling. Dickie Murphy (3 time senior All-Ireland final referee) had the privilege of overseeing good hurling games during the day as each team battled against one another.
