Now after all the celebrations following the Munich tournament we can say once more: What a fantastic victory and what a day to remember!

Both Mens and Ladies teams came away victorious after a strongly contested tournament and so took a serious step closer to the European championship. The tournament itself had almost perfect conditions: the ideal irish (rainy) weather, great teams to play against and two very strong Munich teams ready to give it all. Fair play to all the spectators who braved the rain and turned up on the day to cheer on the teams aswell!

The training and the efforts of the last weeks paid off and the feeling after the men’s final when both the lads and lassies celebrated their splendid double victory was one of unrestrained euphoria. Both Munich teams played extremely well in the finals and provided fantastic support for each other throughout the day!

So it seems the lads diet of beer and kebabs during the world cup and the ladies rigorous training regime was the perfect recipe for success!:) Well done, boys and girls…well done! Now let’s keep it up and bring home the european cups!
